Hello there!
You all left wonderful, sweet comments on the last post announcing the break. I’m a little exhausted and struggling to keep up with everything, I find myself struggling to find words, running out of ways to say thanks. But that doesn’t mean I care any less. I read all of them.
Thank you all so much, seriously. ❤️
Now, I’m not back from my hiatus yet. But I did want to write down my thoughts about what Space Deer as a project has been like so far. It’s quite a lengthy read, but if you’re the curious and nosey type who likes to hear nitty gritty details (and numbers) it might be your kinda jam.
→ What publishing a comic strip for a year feels like
Also, I wanted to remind you about the Space Dear PDF Bundle sale that is still going on!
It contains all the Space Deer PDFs I’ve made so far as well as Empty Planet. Do check it out before the sale ends and you forget it! I won’t remind you again cause I’m going on hiatus for real now.
See ya!
I just want to see you do well, no need for thanks, no pressure for you, this is what it's about ❤️
That was a great write up. You made some great comic strips through this year and a world and characters worth visiting and revisiting.
I'm impressed that you didn't spent more than 255 hours on it. While I would love not to spend too much time on it, my weekly poems take more time than that for me.
Speaking of which, Space Deer was a big inspiration for getting me started on that, and it has been very rewarding for me as well!
